Yesterday was a funny day for The TATE Movie Project. I will let Kirsten Williams (the community manager) explain… kirstenwilliams: The Tate Movie Project After 9 months of the Tate Movie Project, a film for and by children, the kids who created the main characters of the film came to visit the Aardman Studios. ‘The Itch of the Golden Nit’ will be coming out in June and as the animation on the film is almost finished, the Tate Movie ‘crew’ from workshops and the Tate Movie website were invited to see their work. The children got to see their pictures come to life and the film’s animators got to meet the creators of the brilliant characters they’ve been working on. As the Community Manager on the project, meeting the children who regularly use the website was lovely… and the Tate Movie ‘Golden Nit’ cakes were good too! I didn’t actually get to meet any of the kids or have any cake but I did sit at my desk and wave at them which was almost as fun.
